Why I run for Team Fired Up

I am so excited that RunDisney races are coming back to Disneyland! To celebrate, my son an I are running the 5K together. This will be his second RunDisney 5K.

Running has been a lifelong hobby of mine. It has been a path to personal fitness. It has been a light at the end of the tunnel of personal tragedy. But for 2024, I wanted to start running for others as well. I wanted to make my 2024 running year count for more.

When my son and I heard about the Dragon Master foundation (Dragon Masters is the name of one of his favorite book series) and the good work they are doing, we wanted to help.
