We’re excited to share that Little Hands Virginia has moved into our newly renovated, expansive 6,500-square-foot warehouse, marking a significant milestone in our journey to ensure that no child in our community goes without essentials for a healthy, happy start in life. But this is just the beginning.

The First Steps Campaign: Building Brighter Tomorrows

At Little Hands Virginia, we believe that every child deserves a healthy, happy start in life. But as our community grows, so does the demand for the essentials that families need. 

That’s why the First Steps: Building Brighter Tomorrows campaign aims to raise $1.3 million to sustain our growth and ensure we can continue meeting the increasing demands of our community.

Warehouse Expansion

Our new, spacious warehouse has significantly increased our capacity to store and distribute essentials like diapers, clothing, and other essentials.

We have limited Warehouse Sponsorship Naming Opportunities available, and we will recognize these generous donors at our Open House in Fall 2024.

Team Expansion

As our operations grow, so does our need for a strong, dedicated team. We welcomed Margaret Long, full-time Program Director, and Kayla Currie, full-time Program Manager, in 2024 to oversee our operations and partnerships. 

We’re committed to meeting families where they are, working alongside our partners to deliver the essentials that children need to thrive, which will require additional staff for future growth.
