Resolve New England exists because of donors like YOU. They have the ability to advocate for legislature. Did you know that the state of Vermont is currently the ONLY state in New England that does not mandate fertility coverage for health insurance? RNE also has amazing support groups, ones that I have taken advantage of during my journey to connect with others and have recommended to many family and friends. RNE also helped me write letters to our employers to fight for insurance coverage or exceptions. The list goes on. You also do not need to live in New England to use their resources!

Many of you know our story and journey. It began about 7 years ago with our first visit to see Dr. Brian Berger at Boston IVF. Two IVF cycles and an early pregnancy loss later, we found out we were pregnant with our first baby in February 2017. Shortly after this, Ryan was in the hospital after his kidney was punctured during a routine biopsy. A relatively healthy pregnancy and healthy Ryan, Madison Grace, our miracle and rainbow baby, was born November 19, 2017. Ryan ended up on the transplant list weeks later and on dialysis when I returned to work in March 2018. We survived the first year of Madison's life, while also tackling Ryan's health and his 2nd kidney transplant in September 2018. We began discussions after Madison's first birthday to look into our next IVF steps to expand our family. That journey ended up taking years. Insurance. A pandemic. Strengthening our marriage. etc... Finally our IVF journey started up again in January 2021. 3 rounds of IVF, a TESE procedure for Ryan with Dr. Bob Oates., another early pregnancy loss... I was beginning to accept that we were "one and done not by choice." And then, our last embryo, with slow rising HCG levels, turned into our second miracle and rainbow baby. John Patrick aka "Jack" was born August 25, 2022.
