Walk, roll, and stroll for community healing and safety.

Join us for Footsteps for Healing, a community awareness walk dedicated to building safety and unity for survivors and families impacted by all forms of violence. As we walk together, we honor those affected by domestic abuse, sexual assault, gun violence, transphobia, racism, and violence against Indigenous communities. This event is more than a walk—it’s a movement toward healing and resilience.

A Community Model for Building Safety

The many forms of violence that impact our community have complex roots and require community-based solutions. Through this event, Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse, Goodwill of Southern ArizonaTucson Juneteenth Festival, Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual AssaultIndivisible Tohono, the City of Tucson’s Community Safety, Health and Wellness program, and the Consulate of Mexico invite our community to take part in building safety and healing. This event is an opportunity to foster deeper connections and relationships for a safer, more connected community where everyone feels valued and supported.
