This year, Forklift Danceworks is launching The Way of Water, a global project exploring water and the work of the people who steward it.
The Way of Water will start at home in collaboration with the City of Austin Help me fundraise for Forklift's next big performance project that is focused on water!
Watershed Protection Department. It will focus on our essential city employees and our environment through performance and storytelling.

Forklift changed the way I view everyday movement!
Ever since I discovered the world of Forklift Danceworks more than a decade ago, I have come to have such a better appreciation of what is considered commonplace human movement! Whether it's the work sanitaion workers do to move those giant bins, or how aquatics workers keep our pools clean, or arborists work to take care of our trees, the invaluable glimpse at their lives via Forklifts' performances have made me so much more aware and grateful of all these gestures of the human body! I've also learned so much about our community, warts and all. I cannot wait to see Forklift's production with Austin Watershed - please help me raise some money so they'll have what they need to pull off yet another rich and powerful production!
