Event Description

Come celebrate the lives of people with Down syndrome in our community and raise funds for the Down Syndrome Association of WI - Fox Cities!

Saturday, October 1st at Riverside Park in Neenah, WI

Donations made by Friday, September 30th at midnight will be counted towards top fundraiser awards.

TOP 10 TEAMS are recognized!

The top 2 teams get a spot on one of next year's walk billboards.  (Past winners not eligible this year:  Leg Up For Liam, There Iz Hope, Dana's Daises and Cruisin For Cameron)

Deadline to pre-register is Thursday, September 22nd at midnight. ($7.00 per walker, optional $2.00 lunch)

On-site registration will be accepted at the event, but t-shirts are only guaranteed for walkers who pre-register. (on-site registration cost is $10.00 per walker, includes lunch)

Early t-shirt pick up dates:
Walkers who are registered by 11:59pm on Sunday, September 11th can pick up their walk t-shirts at our Appleton office on Sunday, September 18th (4:30-6:30pm) or Monday September 19th (5:30-7:30pm).

10:30 am - 12:30 pm Event check-in and on-site registration

10:30 am - 2:30 pm Fun activities for all ages!! (free for all registered walkers)

Raffles, Resource Tent, DJ, Clowns, Mini-Train Ride, Face Painting, Giant Slide, Rock Climbing Wall, Trampoline Bungee Jumping, Bounce House, Photo Booth, Magician and much more!

2:00 pm - 1 mile non-competetive walk along Lake Winnebago

2:30 pm - Raffle winners announced and posted, must be present for bucket raffle, need not be present for packer ticket raffle drawing 

The vision of the Down Syndrome Assocation of Wisconsin - Fox Cities (DSAW-FC) is that we all understand the value of those with Down syndrome in our lives and our communities.  We continually strive for full acceptance, full access, full life and full potential.

Registration and Fundraising Tips!

Common Questions:

I registered myself, now how do I register others for my team? 

Login and go to MY FUNDRAISING TOOLS in the upper right corner of the site.  Then go to your DASHBOARD.  Then, click on MANAGE REGISTRANTS.  You can then add walkers to your team.  

I want to donate to a specific team or fundraiser.  How do I find that team or fundraiser?  How do I make sure my donation goes to that team or fundraiser?

Click on SEARCH THIS EVENT in the very top left corner of the site and type in the team or fundraiser's name.  Once on the correct page, click DONATE NOW or JOIN OUR TEAM on that page.  Your donation should now go to the correct team or individual.

Myself or someone else would like to register offline or make a donation offline.

Login and go to MY FUNDRAISING TOOLS in the upper right corner of the site.  Then go to your DASHBOARD.  Find RESOURCES in the list on the left side of the page.  Click on it and then you will see a document listed.  Click on DOWNLOAD FILE to download and print the form.

I was given a check or cash as a donation, how do I enter that on my Team Fundraising Page?  

Login and go to your DASHBOARD.  Click on MY DONATIONS and then click on ADD CASH OR CHECK.

How do I promote my Team Fundraising Page on Facebook?  

Go to your TEAM FUNDRAISING PAGE first and then click on SHARE ON FACEBOOK.  If you click SHARE ON FACEBOOK from any other page, you will not be sharing a link that goes directly to your TEAM FUNDRAISING PAGE.
