Lainey was born in August of 2014. We were unaware that she had Down Syndrome as we had passed on the prenatal testing. At 3 days old, Lainey had surgery to repair her intestines which had not fully opened when forming. She spent the first 2 months of her life in the Children's Hospital and finally came home with a feeding tube. She was a rockstar and had her tube removed after only 6 months. Our little girl has come a long way and we are all so blessed with her in our lives.
