We are getting ready for our fourth down syndrome walk this year and would love for you to be a part of it. Team There Iz Hope came in first place last year raising almost TEN THOUSAND dollars. We are so thankful for the support and love we felt from so many people. Izzy's billboard is up!  It is located in Appleton by the Grand Meridian off of Northland and Oneida Street.  Her picture will not be up much longer so go see the cutest billboard in the world out:)

A little background for those of you who do not know our story... After struggling with infertility for several years we were so excited to become pregnant with twins through IVF.  The pregnancy was rough and sadly our son and daughter were stillborn. Knowing our family wasn't complete we became foster parents with the hope of someday being able to adopt. Not long after we were licensed we got a call that a little girl would most likely be adoptable. She had been abandoned at the hospital at birth because she had down syndrome. She became our daughter whom we named Isabella Hope. Izzy is a sweet, spunky, smart, high functioning three year old.  Her most recent accomplishment is becoming potty trained!!!

This walk is the largest fundraiser for our local downs chapter for the year.  All of the money stays here locally and helps families and individuals with DS.  The money is advocated for many things including resources at the hospital for new moms, bike classes, therapies, special equipment and learning independence for adults with DS. 

Any donation big or small is GREATLY appreciated! You can join our team and help us fund-raise as well! It is $7 to do the walk and $2 more if you want to do lunch! There are lots of activities to keep the kids occupied as well from bouncy house to a petting zoo to clowns and music!
