Frankie Lemmon School has been serving children with and without disabilities in the Triangle area for 60 years, and I am proud to be raising funds to support their important work.  Frankie Lemmon believes no obstacle should be placed in front of families already facing challenges, therefore the school provides exceptional education services and lifechanging therapies at little to no cost to the families they serve.  Your donation will directly support the children of Frankie Lemmon School and advance the school's mission to celebrate and educate children of all abilities. 

Frankie Lemmon would not exist without the support of our friends and family, and this year, we need your help more than ever!  The state only covers about 1/3 of the cost of attendance per student per year and the rest (approximately $45,000 per student per year) is up to us.

We believe that every person, regardless of age or ability, deserves acceptance and opportunity.  This school offers both to some of the most vulnerable in our community. 

I witnessed the momentous change in our littles from the start of school to the end of their first year.  I have seen students start the year unable to walk and/or eat independently and end it running throughout the playground and proudly polishing off all the chicken nuggets on their plate.  Accomplishments like these, made possible by the personalized instruction and therapy provided by our FLS staff and teachers, empower families and create a sense of belonging.  Let’s come together in creating a community that encourages opportunity for all!
