My 2.5-year-old son Bennett was dually diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Global Developmental Delay on 2/7/2020. While these new diagnoses have been hard for our family to process we are fully committed to finding therapies that work for Benny. This will be our first year walking with pride for Benny and we look at this walk as a huge milestone of many to come.

Hearing the diagnosis of autism begins the journey to see and learn about life from a unique perspective. According to the CDC, 1 in 59 children has autism. Thousands of Minnesota families are faced with the challenges of navigating an autism diagnosis each year.

Fortunately, evidence shows early intervention can result in dramatically positive outcomes.
