Kabuki Syndrome Awareness Day is TODAY, October 23rd!
Henry's Fundraiser for Kabuki Syndrome Foundation
I am fundraising for Kabuki Syndrome Foundation (KSF), because it is a cause that means a lot to me and impacts me directly. KSF is a foundation created for research and development of ways to manage symptoms of Kabuki Syndrome. Kabuki Syndrome is a rare, multi-system genetic disease that impacts each person differently. I was born with Kabuki Syndrome but did not know that until I was 16 years old. Having Kabuki Syndrome makes many things such as school and exercising very difficult for me. Because of this, I must work harder than others to do those types of things.
My doctors at Kennedy Kreiger Institute/Johns Hopkins Hospital work directly with KSF. I have participated in many clinical trials at Kennedy Kreiger to try to better understand Kabuki Syndrome. Many doctors around the world are hard at work trying to find medicine to help with this genetic disease. Your donations would help those doctors perform different tests and clinical trials to find treatment for Kabuki Syndrome.
Here's how you can help:
