Hello! My name is Iyra and I am a 9th grader at Rouse High School.

I’m thrilled to be supporting Texas Humane Heroes!

I am raising money for my Community Giving Project as a member of Rouse High School's DECA club. DECA is a club for students interested in a career in business, marketing, finance, management, hospitality, and more!

This is one of four fundraisers I'm conducting to raise money and collect item donations for Texas Humane Heroes. Did you know that Texas Humane Heroes saves animals from shelters where they could be euthanized due to overcrowding? They also provide affordable veterinary care for sick, injured, or neglected pets and homeless animals!

Be on the lookout for local fundraisers for Texas Humane Heroes, like a bake sale I am conducting at Lakewood Park. It is projected to take place around early November. I'll also be going door-to-door in local communities, collecting monetary and item donations in that same timeframe.

I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.

Here's how you can help:

• Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small!
• Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!
• Look out for other fundraisers: Help support Texas Humane Heroes even more by donating items or buying items from me at my later fundraisers!

Thank you for standing by me in this effort. Your support means the world to me!
