Join us for the largest charity event in Marshall County at the Fifth Annual FURR Ball — an unforgettable evening in support of the animals at the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown.
This signature fundraiser allows us to continue providing shelter, medical care, and a safe haven for lost, homeless, and abused animals in our community. With your support, our goal this year is to raise $125,000 to give local animals the second chances they deserve.
Enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by the Bobcat Café, live music performed by Rhythmic Rewind Band, and an exciting lineup of live and silent auction items — including exclusive experiences, vacation packages, one-of-a-kind items, locally baked goods, and generous donations from locally owned businesses throughout our community.
Dress to sparkle your way — whether that means sequins, boots, or your favorite outfit that makes you feel fabulous. Come ready to celebrate, bid big, and party with a purpose!

Dinner Spotlight
This year’s FURR Ball promises a dining experience to remember, led by local chef Eric Boone, who will be serving a carved beef entrée at the carving station. A graduate of Buena Vista and Automation Manager at Emerson Process Management, Eric brings both passion and pride to every dish—finding joy in creating meals that bring people together.
Complementing the evening’s entrée, the rest of the menu will be thoughtfully prepared by Bobcat Café, a student-run program launched in 2024 through Marshalltown High School’s culinary and entrepreneurship program. Through hands-on experience in food service and business, these students are gaining real-world skills while serving our community with creativity and heart.
And to finish on a sweet note, guests will enjoy a returning favorite—mini cheesecakes by Jill Severson. Back by popular demand for the third year in a row, these decadent desserts have become a beloved FURR Ball tradition.
