Big problems in Haiti need big solutions.
Let's Do Lunch for them Every Day, Every Month!
That first picture to the right was from a visit a few years back. The children and I were exchanging vocabulary in Kreyol and English. We taught each other our names, names of crops, colors, animals etc. They were cracking up as I tried to get them to open their mouths far enough for the "ow" sound as in "brOWn cOW" and of course, my poor attempts at Kreyol words. But Haiti or America, no matter where you are or what language you speak, every school needs teachers and every student needs lunch. Every day, every month. That's what I'm working for. It is simple. Without lunch, kids can't focus. They fall asleep in class. Their brains don't develop properly. They get discouraged and don't progress to the next grade.
But we can help by providing a full lunch program. All it takes is money, and I plan to raise some. I'm just called to do it: see those sweet kids; relay back to you their experience; and ask for your help. With your help and mine, those kids can grow up strong and smart. They can take advantage of education and maybe even solve some of the big problems in their country some day.
It will take 30,000 to provide lunch for all 190 children for a year, and only $400/month more to cover the remaining teacher salaries. You can see my goal on the thermometer. Please contribute to help me help others. Donate Now to Help!
IF YOU PREFER TO GIVE WITH A CHECK, please write it to Future Forward for Haiti, and mail it to 1001 Falcon Ridge, Belgrade MT 59714. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with no paid employees so over 95% of your gift goes to provide these meals.

Let me tell you some things about Haiti:
- Nearly half of Haiti's population is starving.
- The average income is $350 per year. Teachers at our schools make $132/month
- Only 60% of adults can read at a 6th grade level.
- Many families cannot provide even one meal a day.
- Their government unravelled when the president was shot in 2021 and gang violence makes city unsafe (see the map below).
- The US government plans to "return" 350,000 people back to Haiti though many do not speak Kreyol and Haiti cannot absorb them.
