Hi All,

As some of you may know, we have a sister, Joan, and she lives in Michigan’s UP.  Joan and her husband have three adult sons.  Her middle son, Josh and his wife Miranda had their first child together, a son, born on January 1, 2018. He was the first baby born in Green Bay in the New Year.  Shortly after his birth, they received the news that Ezra has Down syndrome.  We sisters, Joan, Georgia, and Kathy along with Josh & Miranda's family have decided to participate in the Green Bay Down Syndrome Awareness Walk 2019 and have started a team.

We were surprised to learn that 1 in every 700 babies is born with Down syndrome, and it is estimated that over 400,000 people in the United States live with Down syndrome.  With these staggering figures, it would not be a surprise that you know someone with Down syndrome, or know someone that has a relative or knows someone with Down syndrome.  For our family, it is not only Josh’s son, but also another nephew, and a co-worker’s sister-in-law.

If you are interested donating through this website, it is simple, fast, and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts. You can make your tax-deductible donation online, or if you prefer, you can send your contribution to DSAW-Green Bay: PO Box 668, Green Bay, WI 54303. Whatever you can give will help - it all adds up! To sponsor our team simply press Donate Now. Or to sponsor a specific person on our team click on the team member's name below.

If you do not wish to, we completely understand.
