Projects supported by Galentine's Day Kalamazoo 2025

NICU KinderCare: Presented by Dr. Jennifer Wherley, neonatologist. This project provides free drop-in child care for siblings of babies in the Bronson Childrens Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This allows parents the opportunity to visit and spend quality time with their little ones who are still in the hospital. 
 

Beautiful You Project: Presented by Dr. Mika Reschke, breast surgeon. The Beautiful You Program provides practical and emotional support for those undergoing breast cancer treatment. This includes access to cosmetology resources including wigs, make-up and spa services. The program strives to help patients look and feel beautiful to contribute to their overall wellness. 

Sexual Assault Services Program: Presented by Dr. Sarah Brown, child advocacy specialist & medical director of Bronson Healthcare's Sexual Assault Services program (SAS). SAS collaborates with local agencies to offer comprehensive 24/7 support, including sexual assault nurse examiners, victim support, counseling, court advocacy and a child advocacy center.
