Big Brothers Big Sisters connects youth with mentors who inspire their Little to explore and embrace their dreams, even when it is difficult. Now, more than ever, it is critical to raise funds to support youth mentoring.

Joe Holston, former Board chair and member with Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA launched his single-day golf challenge in 2020 to support this critical mission. 

After 4 years of adding more holes each year to his challenge to support Big Brothers Big Sisters, he needed something different so in 2024 he got rid of 11 clubs and challenged the course with just a hybrid, 7 iron, and wedge. That’s right, last year he played 6 rounds (108 holes) on one September day with just 3 clubs.

This year Joe plans on using just 2 clubs to play 7 rounds/126 holes in only 11 hours of daylight.

Joe is a 4-decade supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, a past President and past Board Chair, and continues to take on this golf challenge because "it's for the kids!"
