I am a board member of The Giving Initiative For Teens (GIFT). We are fundraising to help solve the issue of poverty and homelessness locally and around the world. We are guided by our Jewish values of responsibility, pursuing peace, and sustainability in our fundraising efforts. The homeless population in Seattle has been the third largest of any city in the US since 2015 and it continues to grow. Having this issue so close to home has motivated me to take action for this important cause.
