As part of the nonprofit GIFT, we want to focus on funding groups that help those suffering from substance abuse. Substance abuse is a huge problem in the Seattle area and most people living here have been impacted in one way or another. In the past year and a half 4 high school students in the seattle area died from overdoses, making substance abuse and the drug problem an issue that impacts even teenagers.
