Kick Cancer to the Curb

As most of you know, I was diagnosed with De Novo Metastatic Breast Cancer in June 2022. Fast forward to September 2023 and I am doing well. In fact, I can walk up to 5 miles. That is a huge milestone for me. Last year at this time I was very sick and spent many days on the couch. Gilda's Club is a great resource for cancer patients - both men, women and teens. So many programs both in-person and virtual. I have used some of their resources in the last 15 months since my diagnosis. Many groups and activities in which to choose. The volunteers are so kind, patient and wonderful! Highly recommend Gilda's Club for those affected by cancer - it isn't just for cancer patients as there are many activities for loved ones, family members, etc. to join in.
