Gildas Club is an incredible organization that provides free emotional support, cancer education, and a sense of community for those affected by cancer. I joined a Gilda’s support group after the loss of my dad to cancer but while my mom was still bravely battling her own cancer diagnosis. The group began as people supporting loved ones with cancer, but it gradually transformed into something much deeper. After I lost my mom, those friends and their unwavering support became my lifeline. I can’t fully express how grateful I am for the strength and encouragement they’ve provided during the most challenging time in my life.

I am running in honor of my parents, whose love and resilience continue to inspire me every day. Through this fundraising campaign, I aim to ensure that others facing similar struggles have free access to the vital resources and support they need.
