GEC Virtual 5K for Kitenga

Join GEC for its first ever virtual...

5K for Kitenga

YOUR 5K will be completed in honor of an actual Kitenga Girls Secondary School (KGSS) student.

YOUR 5K will support the quality, holistic, life-changing education of ALL Kitenga students. 

Just like schools across the globe, KGSS is currently closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. YOUR run will help GEC support the school and students both now and when the school re-opens. For more information on GEC's Covid-response plan please click here. 

How will you 5K? Running, walking, hopping, skipping, biking, skipping...you get the point! All methods are welcomed. Just be sure to 'Race Safe'!

Here's how it works:

$10 registration per individual. Sign up as an Individual, Create a team, or Join a Team

Spaces are limited, sign up soon- there are only 120 spots - one spot for each Kitenga student. Team members all 5K for the same student.   

 All registered individuals or teams will '5K' in honor of an actual KGSS student and pledge to raise (at least) $100. The funds you raise will directly support education, opportunity and safety at the Kitenga Girls Secondary school. 

Complete your 5K on Saturday, May 9, 2020.  Rain date: Sunday, May 10, 2020
