It is very difficult to imagine leaving our friends, family members, homes, and possessions behind to escape bombing raids. Unfortunately, this is something millions of Syrians have had to do.
Umm Abdo's story is like so many other Syrian refugees that we were forced to flee into uncertainty. The difference is that YOUR donations helped Umm Abdo’s family stay warm in winter.
“After Islamic Relief provided us with enough coal so we can stay inside our tent, without the need to go to our neighbors tents or collect firewood. With this warmth, we are reminded of our beautiful life before the war. I ask Allah to return us to our villages and homes so we can live in peace with our relatives and neighbors who have been separated from us by this war."
