Please consider joining us on September 17th while we celebrate the ABILITIES of people with Down syndrome. The Awareness Walk is all about spreading the word that people with Down syndrome have gifts and abilities just like everyone else. We want to encourage full acceptance and inclusion in schools, work, and the community as a whole.
The walk is a fun day of celebration with family, friends and people who, like you, want to raise awareness and raise the hope of a better world for all people with Down syndrome. There will be lots of family friendly activities, including face painting, crafts, inflatables, music, dancing, and more! With your support and involvement, our goals of acceptance, inclusion and empowerment will become a reality!
