I can't believe we are about to celebrate our 9th Down syndrome Walk for Awareness with the LaCrosse Area Wisconsin Down Syndrome Association. What a 9 years it has been! Learning, growing, advocating - and advocating some more! We all want to be accepted and loved for who we are. People with Down syndrome are no different!
RubyAnne has had a busy summer with swim lessons, music, show choir, day camp, drama camp (she was an awesome mouse), trips to the Dells and zoos, bowling (lots of bowling!), and Cherry Berry (a favorite). She is getting ready to enter 3rd grade at West Salem Elementary - what? She is Rockin' her purple glasses, and has got sass and spirit through the roof!
Won't you join our family and walk on Sept. 17 to show our community how much we love and support people with Down syndrome.
