Yes, you read that right...44 miles! Crazy, right?

I first heard about this event when my friend Sherri participated last year. I remember following the weekend's activities over social media, and was immediately inspired to take part. The emotion, dedication, camaraderie, passion...what better way to join in helping fight this horrible disease?

Like many, breast cancer has impacted my family. In 2011, my mom fought and beat the disease...(more like kicked its ass!)...and since then, she has been stronger than ever! This event will help raise money for the hundreds of thousands of others who are fighting the same fight.
