The Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center is hosting their 12th Annual WALK for Autism in the leisure and time of the participant. This event is a week-long event starting on February 28th with the participants walking and/or running in their leisurely time to make money and raise awareness for autism.
The WALK is open to all ages and is a symbolic stroll around your neighborhood, nearest park, or any preferred location of your choice, bringing awareness and acceptance to those with autism in our community. This year we are "Going Gold for Autism".
The participants who donate over $25 will recieve a t-shirt.
This event will be in strict alliance with the COVID guidelines set in place by the state so the event will be held and carried out by the participant on their own time.Your donation fees are tax deductible. This Walk for Autism event is our main fundraiser and we receive no government funding. Funds received at this event are directly spent on Camp Expedition, Game Nights, Teen Dances, First Responder Trainings, Social Groups, Support Groups, and more.
