We are Team "Be SMART" and are raising money for Alzheimer's and dementia research and also sharing the message on the importance of secure gun storage.
The "Be SMART" program asks gun owners and non-gun owners alike to ‘Be SMART’ and take these simple steps: Secure all guns in homes and vehicles Model responsible behavior Ask about firearms in other homes your children and family members visit Recognize the role of guns in suicide Tell your peers to Be SMART
Secure gun storage is so important for not only families with children, but also families caring for loved ones who suffer from Alzheimer's or dementia.
We are also raising funds for Alzheimer's research in memory of Mary's father, Fred W. Lentz, who died at the age of 69 from complications related to Alzheimer's.
