5K is back in 2025! Run for our community with our new 5K race!
Calling all runners! For the last few years, we have been asked to add a running option to Envision's Go the Extra Mile event. We listened!
With great feedback from the 2024 5K test route, we have decided to incorporate the 5K into Go the Extra Mile moving forward.
Bring your running club or exercise buddies. Start training now with a "Couch to 5K" plan, or make it a group goal in your office!
Awards will be based on gender/age categories. 5K running course will differ slightly from walk route. Timing offered is ticker tape with a timeclock. There is a charge for race timing. Timing fee includes timing, bib, all festival activities, and lunch ticket. See the 5K route HERE

Why should I donate or fundraise?
Why should you donate? We can't do what we do without you! Federal Medicad dollars cover the very basic services that Envision delivers annually to nearly 700 children and adults, but they only cover a portion of the support that we provide. Your donation helps to add depth to our programs, which enables the people that we serve to not just live, but experience vibrant, meaningful lives.
About Envision
At Envision, we believe that our communities are better when all people are included. When people belong, they have opportunities to make contributions and be valued for their gifts.
For over 60 years, Envision has been serving individuals with Developmental Disabilties in the Greater Cincinnati area. From our grassroots beginning as a small residential school, Envision has grown to over 200 amazing staff members that serve nearly 700 children and adults each year through four primary programs. These programs address a range of disabilities including: physical or cognitive disabilities, syndromes associated with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum, learning disabilities, and co-occurring mental health issues. Many have inappropriate behaviors, communication challenges, medical issues, and physical limitations. Each has their unique strengths, gifts, interests, and support systems.
Programs include group homes, family support, independent individual support, foster care, Mental Health care, respite care, on site children's services, and an adult day program. Each person served is provided tailored, personalized support intended to help them live a full and vibrant life and acheive their personal best.
