Hi! My name is Rose Bender and I am living with hemophilia A.  Though hemophilia has of course not been without its challenges, I feel extremely fortunate to live here in the US, where proper treatment allows me to live, work, bike, swim, and of course hike (nearly) free of limitations.  In many parts of the world, treatment is unaffordable or inaccessible, causing people with hemophilia to live with preventable disability and limitations.

Save One Life provides direct financial assistance to families with a bleeding disorder in the lowest-income parts of the world.  This assistance offsets the financial burden of having a family member with a disability, and helps pay for essentials, such as transportation to clinic, which greatly improve quality of life and can even be lifesaving.  Save One Life does great work, and is a cause dear to my heart - please support me in supporting their mission!
