Hello Friends!
While hiking the Grand Canyon in May, I will be keeping the students I have taught who live with hemophilia and other illnesses that cause bleeding disorders, and the families of these students in my thoughts.
These were my words in the spring of 2020. The Grand Canyon Adventure was canceled due to--well you all know why it was canceled--Covid. A different kind of challenge for each of us. Two years later and we are back at it trying to make a difference.
One step at a time, one positive thought at atime, one dollar at a time, we will save one life at a time.
Save One Life improves the quality of life and future for people with bleeding disorders around the world by directly providing people with the resources they need to lead independent and healthy lives.
The Mission of Save One Life is to:
- raise public awareness about people with bleeding disorders in the developing world
- identify children and youth with bleeding disorders who need aid in developing countries
- provide financial support for beneficiaries' basic needs and preparation for adulthood
- offer sponsors and donors an opportunity to make a direct difference in the lives of people with bleeding disorders in developing countries
- partner with and mentor local bleeding disorder organizations through program funding
