Why I'm Involved in the Club...

I have been a part of the Boys and Girls club movement since 2014 in a variety of roles. I have had the opportunity to work with many members through leading camps, chaperoning field trips, and directing sites. The highlights of my club career are seeing youth that I worked with as elementary members attending the club as teen members. Being directly involved in the process of youth development from elementary school through high school is something the club does well. The club is a safe place for members to learn important life skills, build lasting friendships, and to have a safe place to have fun.

I strongly believe in the mission of the Boys and Girls Club: to enable all young people especially who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.  This mission statement is central to the work the club does for the youth of our community and I am proud to be a part of the movement.

GREAT FUTURES DAY is an All IN community campaign to make sure every youth has a great future!

DID YOU KNOW?

• There are 96 languages spoken in Bellevue School District and every child has a voice at the Boys & Girls Club.
• Currently, there are hundreds of kids who are not able to access the club’s services because we lack the scholarship funds to open the doors for those kids this year.
• The need is greater than ever. The Club serves 60,000 meals and snacks each year and your support will make sure kids continue to have a stable food source.
