GSM's 30th Annual Golf Invitational
IMPORTANT information for ALL golfers!
To ensure everything runs smoothly and to guarantee a fantastic experience for all participants, we have included crucial registration details and event information below. Please take a moment to review these details carefully.
Key Points to Highlight:
Registration Information: It is essential that each participant checks in at the registration table. This will help us finalize our arrangements and ensure that everyone is properly accounted for. REGISTRATION is from 9:30 am to 11:30 am
- Receive starting hole number, bathroom code & assigned dinner table
- Download GIVI app on phone for auction (if you have not already) - auction items include golf packages, Cubs tickets, Collectors Bourbon, Trip to Avon CO, VIP beverage cart for 2027 and more to come!
- Receive 2 drink tickets for the course (includes domestic beer, hard seltzers or non-alcoholic beverages of your choice.) There will be beverage carts stationed again at about every third hole. In addition, there will be several bottles of water on ice in your carts as well as three coolers of water on the course between the beverage cart stations.
- Pick up golfer gift at registration
- Register for the Mega Putt Challenge, the PartTee Cart Raffle and more. Purchase Grand cash raffle tickets, prize raffle tickets and Mulligans. See details below.
Event Day Logistics: We have outlined the schedule of events, venue details, and any special instructions you need to be aware of for the day. Familiarizing yourself with this information will contribute greatly to the smooth operation of the event.
10:00 am to 11:30 am – INDOOR lunch buffet
11:45 am – MEGA PUTT CHALLENGE will be held at the practice green in front of the building. Please arrive a few minutes prior to secure a spot surrounding the practice green.
11:50 am – PAR-TEE GOLF CART RAFFLE winner will be announced and their golf cart swapped out. ANNOUNCEMENTS to follow.
12:00 pm – SHOT-GUN START - in front of building in parking lot.
Please follow rules to speed up play as we would like everyone to arrive in time for the dinner program:
- Minimize your time on the tee
- Play “Ready Golf”
- Plan your shot before you get to the ball
- Off the tee, determine your yardage & make your club selection before it is your turn to play
- Keep your pre-shot routine short; no more than 1-2 practice swings
- Be ready to hit when it is your turn
- Hit first, then search; play your shot before helping your playing partner
- Keep flagstick in; it is no longer a penalty to strike the flagstick in the hole with a shot from the green
- Finish short putts on the green rather than marking them. You’ll probably make more.
- Follow the flight of all tee shots, not just your own

6:00 pm – Welcoming Remarks & Blessing
6:05 pm – Dinner Buffet Opens - Tables will be called to proceed to the buffet.

CONTESTS/RAFFLES INFO:
- Mega Putt Challenge - ($10 per ball; choose your ball from a basket; prior to shot-gun start, all players participating will putt their numbered golf ball from the edge of the practice green area into the designated hole. Winner whose ball goes into the hole receives a RF Foursome Golf Certificate.
- Par-Tee Golf Cart Raffle - $10 chance or 3 for $25 to win a Ruffled Feathers golf cart stocked with your choice of 6-pack beverage along with RF items. Winner announced prior to shot-gun start. (Valued at $150)
- Grand Cash Raffle - 1 ticket for $10 or 3 tickets for $25; Drawing will be held during the dinner program. 1st Prize ($500); 2nd Prize ($200); 3rd Prize ($100) *Winner need not be present*
- Prize Raffle - 1 ticket for $10, 3 tickets for $25 or an “Arm’s Length” (20 tickets) for $100; Drawing will be held during the dinner program. We will update the site with prizes as we receive them.
ON-COURSE GAMES AND SPECIAL HOLES:
- HOLE-IN-ONE CONTEST (Hole #8) - Middle Tee for Men (166 yds.) and Forward Tee for Women (154 yds.) Winner receives a 2-year lease on a Buick Encore GX
- GOLF BALL CANNON LAUNCH (Hole #13) - $10 chance to use a launcher to count as your drive
- MONEY HOLE (Hole #17) - At least $5 gives you a chance to drive your ball into the circle on the green to get double your money back
- FOURSOME PHOTO (Hole #18) - FREE! Pose with your foursome. Foursome photos will be framed and available at your table during the dinner program
- HIT IT ON THE ISLAND (Hole #11 is a Par 3) $5 per golfer to participate. Each golfer that hits their tee shot on the "island green" gets their name put in a raffle to win a prize TBD.
