Grant Thornton Bowl-A-Thon 18-19

Hello friends, family, acquaintances and anyone else who happens to stumble on this!

I am participating in Bowl-A-Thon through my company, Grant Thornton, to raise funds for Junior Achievement. JA is non-profit dedicated to helping local students by fostering work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and using experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential.

I remember Junior Achievement coming to my class in middle school and teaching us about basic business and finance concepts. While I can't say that everything I learned stuck with me, a few of the ideas did (and I got some free swag)! When GT gave me the opportunity to participate in JA, I knew this was something that I would enjoy and hopefully the students would as well. I have really enjoyed participating in JA in the classroom these past few years and I'm hoping to continue contributing to the organization in whatever way I can.
