For Madelyn's first birthday on August 12th we have decided to set up a fundraising page for Children's Hospital. Madelyn spent her first 8 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and subsequent 2 weeks in the Infant Care Center before coming home. Prior to this, she had fetal surgery at 24 weeks gestation to repair her Spina Bifida (myelomeningocele). She would not be here if it were not for the hard work and skill of the Pediatric surgeon, neurosurgeon and the entire NICU/ICC team.
