Help me keep someone fed, safe, and warm this winter.

No one should go to bed COLD and HUNGRY!

Help me keep someone fed, safe, and warm this winter.

Winter can make or break survival for any of us. And for our vulnerable sisters and brothers—those already suffering from poverty, displaced from their homes, with no food or water—the freezing temperatures add another battle they have to fight to survive. I'm helping Islamic Relief US to aid communities braving the cold,  but I need your help.

Sharing your warmth can help a child get through the winter. Your donation provides vital items like food, medical aid, water, blankets, mattresses, plastic sheeting, plastic mats, shoes, jackets, hats, sweatshirts, gloves, waterproof coats, socks, and more.

Winter projects that give warmth, and save lives.

Umm Zakariyya and her children were one of the families assisted by receiving winter relief items at an orphanage that was home to Syrian refugees. The project provided 2,500 families with winter jackets, new shoes and socks. Mothers arrived providing a list of every item they needed. One mother requested shoes size 6 and 7.  She also needed a small and medium winter jacket. The Islamic Relief staff were fortunate enough to have the exact sizes.

It wasn’t enough just to have coats and shoes, donors made it possible to have many different sizes so that mothers and fathers could find exactly what they needed. Umm Zakariyya was amazed to see such abundant help. “You can see first-hand how your help is reaching the people,” Umm Zakariyyah said.
