Junior Achievement® is changing the game for Greater Washington’s youth with relevant, experiential education in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship programs – education that will serve them well for real life in the real world.

Your commitment and support through Play4JA ensure our students can spend more time planning for and dreaming about tomorrow, and less time worrying about today. This also is a chance to have fun with your colleagues and work on that golf swing (or just to enjoy some food and drink!). Guidehouse is excited to host its second Play4JA Golf-A-Thon. Last year over $12,000 was raised!!!

What is the Guidehouse Play4JA Golf-A-Thon?

Guidehouse Neighborhood 10 invites our Guidehouse family across Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia to connect, have some laughs, and flex your golf skills, all while raising money for Junior Achievement® of Greater Washington. The Guidehouse Play4JA Golf-A-Thon will be held at three (3) TopGolf locations across the area. At each TopGolf location, thirty (30) colleagues, consisting of five (5) 6-person teams will compete. Leaderboards across all three (3) TopGolf locations will be linked, pitting co-worker against co-worker in the ultimate pursuit of Guidehouse golf supremacy!

There are a limited number of spots for players and attendees at each location...so sign-up now and start fundraising! Time to grab a club and get ready to Play4JA! Food and drink will be provided at TopGolf...so just show up and have fun.

Why support Play4JA?

First off, this is your opportunity to raise funds for a wonderful program supporting children in the area. Secondly, bragging rights with your Guidehouse colleagues. We will have prizes for the top fundraising team and the top 3 fundraising individuals. And since this is going to be a golf tournament, you know we’ll have prizes for winners of each of the games we play in the tournament.

How You Can Get Involved:

Player: Register as a player at your preferred location. Select a team or be randomly assigned to one. Commit to raise $200!
Cheerleader: Sign up as Cheerleader for a specific team, donating to the team or player of your choice and attending the event.
Donator: Donate to JAGW, no attendance required.

There are two donation options available for supporting the JA cause! 

Option 1 – Qgiv: These donations will support individuals and teams in a competition to see who can raise the most! Prizes will be awarded to the top donating individual and teams. No donations are matched and this platform is run by Junior Achievement of Greater Washington. Donations will be logged in real time and visible on the platform.

Option 2 – Inspire: Don't want to pick favorites? Take advantage of Guidehouse's corporate giving match and donate through Inspire. These donations will support the overall event without contributing to a specific individual or team. Guidehouse will match 50% of all donations in Inspire! Please note - the Inspire platform is another way to donate - it is not the platform to sign up for the event.
