In November I will be taking on the New York Marathon! I will be doing this to raise funds and awareness for an organisation that supports a cause I am very passionate about. The conservation of African Wildlife. Particularly within the Zambezi Valley. The Zambezi Elephant Fund are part of Re:wild who’s focus is to create a safe environment where elephants and other wildlife can thrive.
ZEF was formed in 2015 as a collaborative, supportive initiative to specifically to create awareness of and address the alarming rise of poaching and habitat loss in the Zambezi Valley of Zimbabwe.
During my travels across East Africa I’ve seen first hand how organisations like ZEF are fighting the rise of poaching and Human / Wildlife conflict and I’ve seen the impact of the work these organisations do and how important it is for the sustainability of the Wildlife and their environment’s.
By supporting me in running this marathon you’ll be supporting an incredible cause.
Also, I’m turning 40 shortly after the Marathon so any donations can be classed as a birthday Gift.
You can find out more about the work they do here.
