Hello beautiful people!  

I am very excited to announce that I will be serving as a missionary for Hard as Nails Ministries this next year. HN is a traveling Catholic evangelization ministry with the mission to awaken the world to the power of God's love. Through their efforts, including the missionary program, Hard as Nails' vision is to create a world where no one suffers alone. 

I heard about Hard as Nails through campus ministry at Mercyhurst University. After reading through their core values and reaching out to some young adults who had participated in the missionary program, I decided to apply. I was scrambling to figure out after graduation plans and desperately trying to choose a direction to go in with the psychology degree that I had worked so hard for over the past four years. I was unsure about attending graduate school and very unsure about jumping into a full-time job and living on my own. I did not doubt that I was capable of doing these things, but was this what I wanted?   

After spending time with Jesus in prayer and adoration, I realized that I loved this organization's values, its commitment to serving the youth, and shining a light into the darkest of places. The Lord has put this on my heart and there are so many teens and young adults that I can impact through this missionary program. I have been dying to pour my time, energy, heart, soul, and many creative talents into something I truly believe in. In my time at Mercyhurst University, I have served as a leader in campus ministry and loved working retreats. In my own experience, campus ministry created a space for me to thrive and discover a deeper relationship with Christ. I hope to do the same for others. Through this program, I can utilize the knowledge and skills I have acquired from my degree in psychology to be present to others in their suffering and to help young adults navigate the storms of life.        

HN asks that I raise $10,000 to help cover the costs of my living expenses, travel expenses, food, etc. I need your help. Anything that you can give is greatly appreciated. Know that your generosity will enable me to fully enter into this year and to touch the hearts of many others. Jesus has been so present and at work in my life. He has offered me nothing but grace, love, and mercy. He loves me so deeply, and my only desire is to communicate this love to the world!
