Hi, my name is Aidan Kruse. I am 19 years old and I've been given the opportunity to serve a second year as a missionary for Hard as Nails Ministries. I felt a call on my heart to do this when I went to a missionary come and see retreat. I was going through a rough time and had started turning to worldly things to distract myself, i had started drinking and smoking all the time but it just made me feel empty inside. I saw the true joy that the all missionaries had even amist there own struggles. I looked inward and saw I had no hope and I was even suicidal at the time. Somehow I decided to become a missionary and it's been the best decision I've ever made. It has helped me grow in ways I didn't even know I needed growth in and I have now found a true joy that I've never had before. The first year was one of the hardest of my life but by the grace of God I'm back and ready to WIN SOME SOULS!!

For those of you who don't know, HN is a traveling Catholic evangelization ministry with the mission to awaken the world to the power of God's love. Through their efforts, including the missionary program, HN's vision is to create a world where no one suffers alone.
