The Reality:
Across the nation there is a mental health crisis that is taking over the lives of the youth. The upcoming generations are desparate to fill themselves and are constantly searching for this fill in unhealthy and undignified ways. The reality is that young adults are lost and are suffering and don't know the love of Christ anymore.
Our Response:
The mission of Amazing Nation is to raise up courageous and authentic leaders. We want to help build God's team so we can walk with the struggling youth and show them they are never suffering alone. By spreading the "You're Amazing" message across the nation we are empowering young adults to live as their authentic selves and become leaders in the faith. Through our own testimonies of hope and healing we want to bring faith and family to the center of our culture again!
The How:
My role as Programs Coordinator works with all departments of the mission to plan and coordinate all events and programs, both behind the scenes and on the scene! I focus on advancing our mission efforts with efficiency, ensuring smooth logistics, recruitment, and making an impact!
Here are some ways we're impacting the nation: we travel across the states and put on events to spread the message that You're Amazing for who you are as a child of God, focusing mainly on elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and church parishes. Our events range from confirmation retreats to school assemblies to youth groups. Our sports outreach team travels to universities and high schools, running athlete-focused bible studies, guiding student athletes to find their worth in Christ. We encourage everyone we meet, we pray with students and families across the nation and we share our most challenging life events and how God got us through them. My role is to ensure the smooth operation of all of these events and programs and to continuously assess the efficiency of what we're doing. My position enables all teams to be more effective in their lanes to ensure that we reach the most souls as possible!
The Result:
The result is lives transformed! When the You're Amazing message reaches someone, it changes their outlook on everything and then they are able to go and encourage the next person. Then we see the ripple effect and it spreads like wildfire! Leading these young adults to the truth that God is love and loves us no matter what gives us a sense of purpose and fulfillment that we realize we won't find in the world. Through this work, we have seen so many glory stories! From athletes starting to lead their campus in prayer before games, to men from broken families finally finding healing, to young women recognizing their worth as daughters of God again - He is transforming lives one soul at a time through us!
