Hey everyone I'm Cate Waldron. I am now officially a Hard As Nails Missionary!! I was commissioned on the 19th of September in Auresville New York! I'd love your support not for me but for this Amazing Ministry I'm participating in for the next 10 months.
Here is a little bit about means how I became drawn to this mission. I am the fourth child of 8 in my family. My family is filled with wild and rambunctious people... and then there's me who is not so wild and rambunctious. I am a very introverted person who with this new step wants to make a difference to herself and the world around her by helping others and growing closer in my love for Christ. I am very indecisive so this decision definitely took a lot of prayers but I'm very excited for my adventures ahead.
In the weeks since my training has ended I have been working with athletes in the local school of Newark Catholic. Me and some of the staff members hold student led bible studies during both lunch periods every Thursday of the week. We have already seen so much fruit from only two of these huddles, as we call them. As well as working in the local schools, I am also preparing for my first cross country tour on October 7th-11th. We will be heading to Illinois and Indiana for a week. We will be holding events at 4 schools between both states, and I will be MCing all of them - needless to say I'm nervous! Your prayers mean so much to me and this mission. Please keep me in them; you will be in mine.
I am still continuing to reach my goal of $10,000 and I need your help! The Hard As Nails program is so beautiful. We strive to make sure that no one suffers alone. That no one suffers without Christ. We volunteer our time doing church ministry and school retreats in Ohio and beyond. This organization is totally non-profit and is supported by all the prayers and pennies given by our amazing and generous donors.
