Welcome to HCA’s First-Ever Turkey Trot!
We’re excited to invite you to join us for our inaugural Turkey Trot, part of our Giving Tuesday fundraising project benefiting the Preschool!
This year, our Preschool is raising funds to purchase new classroom cubby units. Our goal is to raise $4,000 for purchasing, shipping, and installing the new units to provide our preschoolers with organized, accessible spaces to store their belongings each day. Every donation and contribution brings us one step closer to making this goal a reality! Any money raised beyond what is needed for the cubbies will go toward the Academy’s Giving Tuesday project to update the locker rooms.
On November 24, our Preschool families will gather for a fun-filled day of carnival games, food, and cheering on our little turkeys! Families are invited to purchase carnival passes, lunch, or both to enjoy throughout the event.
Our preschoolers will participate in a fun Turkey Trot course and are seeking pledges for their run to help raise money for their classroom cubbies. Every preschooler who completes the Turkey Trot will receive a prize to celebrate their participation! Additionally, the student who raises the most money through pledges will receive a special prize.
There’s another exciting incentive for our Preschool! If we can collect 1,000 correctly addressed labels, our Preschoolers will earn a special Pajama and Stuffie Party Day! Help us reach this goal and give our little turkeys another reason to celebrate.
We’ll pause our festivities to cheer on our preschoolers as they participate in the Turkey Trot, followed by a prize presentation. Afterward, families are welcome to continue enjoying the carnival and lunch before heading home.
If purchased, lunch will be served buffet-style and will include Chick-fil-A nuggets, chips, a drink, and a dessert. You may enjoy your meal anytime during the designated lunch hours.
Our Academy students will join in the excitement by cheering on our preschoolers and helping run the carnival activities. Please note that Academy students will not be participating as event attendees.
Thank you for being part of this special first-year event and helping us reach our $4,000 goal! Our Turkey Trot will kick off the fundraising campaign, which will continue through Giving Tuesday. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our Preschool classrooms!

1:00 PM — Event concludes; please check your child out if they are leaving with you
