Meet Bryce

My name is Bryce Cobbs, I am a 25 year old artist from Roanoke Virginia. I have been involved with a wide number of projects in and for my community and have grown to be an active member in it as well. I aim to be a positive role model in my community and use my skills and resources to better not only my own experience in it, but for those around me as well.

What strengths did you observe in the family? What did you learn from family? What were your takeaways?

During my home visit i was paired with Christine, a very bright energetic young woman with a serious passion for her work at CHIP. When visiting the home I noticed a very loving family relationship between the mother and children. Despite the surroundings, she seemed very strong and positive. She loved her children and they seemed to love her equally. I could tell she is a good mother.

I learned that no matter the circumstances, being a good parent to your children always must come first. Also having a strong mentality and being able to focus on the positive aspects of life can help be a building block for developing a resilient attitude. I think the work that CHIP is doing for this young woman is beyond extraordinary, and I can see this Boeing something that many families could benefit assistance from.
