Join us in honoring six years of healing hearts at The Grief Club of Minnesota’s 6th Annual Healing Hearts Soirée—a powerful evening celebrating the impact of our mission and the incredible community that makes it all possible.

5:30  – 6:50 PM | Registration & Check-In

  • Arrive, explore our space for healing, and enjoy refreshments while connecting with fellow guests. Be sure to visit the raffle tables and drop your tickets into the packages that catch your eye!

7:00 PM | Welcome & Opening Remarks

  • Our program opens with a warm welcome and reflections from founders, Sarah Kroenke and Cara Mearns Thompson. We’ll then hear a powerful story from our Guest of Honor (TBD), sharing how The Grief Club of Minnesota has made a meaningful difference in their life.

7:45 PM | Live Auction

  • Get ready for an exciting live auction featuring unique and meaningful items. Raise your paddle, join the fun, and help support our mission with every bid.

8:15 PM (approximate) | Fund-A-Need, Raffle Drawing and Closing

  • Join us for a meaningful Fund-A-Need moment to support healing and connection. We’ll then hold our raffle drawing and announce the winners. The evening will conclude with heartfelt gratitude and closing remarks.

The Grief Club of Minnesota is a trusted nonprofit providing a safe, compassionate space where grieving children, teens, young adults, and their caregivers can connect, share, and heal. Unique in Minnesota, all our services are delivered at no cost to clients by licensed mental health professionals, offering tailored, high-quality clinical care to families statewide.

Our comprehensive support includes individual and family counseling, therapeutic peer groups, camps, special events, crisis response, and community education. We help families navigate grief in healthy ways.

We’re honored to welcome back Eric Perkins, longtime media personality and Grief Club board member, as the emcee for this year’s Healing Hearts Soiree.

Known affectionately as “Perk,” Eric is a familiar face to many in the Twin Cities. He built a celebrated career as a sports anchor at the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis–St. Paul, earning multiple Regional Emmy Awards and covering five Olympic Games.Today, he leads his own production company, Perk at Play Productions.

We’re grateful to have Perk guide us through this special evening with warmth, energy, and his signature style.
