Tournament overview.

The basics.

  • Date: Monday, April 8, 2024
  • Time: Shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.; see agenda below for additional details
  • Location: Suntree Country Club at 300 Country Club Dr, Melbourne, FL 32940
  • Parking: Follow the signs for parking and bag drop at your assigned course noted below.
  • Attire: Golf attire; no denim allowed

Agenda.

  • 7:30 a.m. - Arrive at Suntree! Place your bag on your cart and head to the front of the clubhouse for coffee, breakfast, and glove fitting. The driving range will be open for warm-up. Your cart will be pre-stocked with your swag bags, shirts, Power Packs, and drink tickets.
  • 8:15 a.m. - Head to your cart for announcements and get ready to go. Be sure to review the rules letter and course map clipped to your cart's steering wheel.
  • 8:30 a.m. - Shotgun start
  • 1:00 p.m. - Head upstairs for lunch and awards. For players who finish early, appetizers and beverages will be available at 12:30 p.m.
  • 1:15 p.m. - All scores must be entered in Golf Genius app.
  • 1:30 p.m. - Awards ceremony
  • 1:48 p.m. - Join us on the pool deck to view the solar eclipse. We added protective viewing glasses to your swag bag.

Arrival and parking.

When you arrive.

  • Follow signs for parking for your assigned course
  • Drop golf bag with attendant at bag drop
  • Park your car
  • Find your cart. Your cart will be pre-stocked with your swag bags, shirts, Power Packs, and drink tickets.
  • Enjoy a grab-and-go breakfast located in front of new clubhouse
  • Warm up at Driving Range (balls provided)
  • Head to your cart by 8:15 a.m. for announcements and prepare to tee off. Be sure to review the rules letter and course map clipped to your cart's steering wheel.

Parking.

  • Challenge course parking is located in the far lot, behind the new clubhouse.
  • Classic course parking is in the lot between both clubhouses.
  • Overflow parking is available across the street near the tennis courts.
  • Please try to carpool when you can and arrive early.

Play and scoring.

Play.

  • Play is in scramble format. Course rules will be distributed on-site.
  • Power Packs are available which include tournament enhancements like mulligans and "move the tee", as well as additional contests such as "closest to the pin", "on/off the green", ball launcher and putting contest. One Power Pack per player.
  • Save time at the course by purchasing your Power Pack in advance. Limited availability and first come first served on-site.
  • On-course activities including Golf Ball Launcher and Hire a Pro will accept credit/debit card payment if you choose to participate.

Scoring.

  • Download the Golf Genius App on your smartphone to be able to submit the score for your team's round.  iOS   Android
  • Use the GGID (Golf Genius Identification) on the bottom right corner of the scorecard you receive at check-in to submit your team's scores. If you have questions while on the course, call the Pro Shop at 321.242.6235.
  • Check your score ranking against other teams on the live leaderboard throughout the tournament.
  • All teams must submit scores in GolfGenius by 1:15 p.m.

The power of the Power Pack.

Your Power Pack is your ticket to the putting contest, on/off the green, Ball Launcher, plus the following:

  • Mulligans (3)
  • Opportunity to move the tee on one hole
  • One additional door prize entry

Food and beverage

  • Included with your golf outing is breakfast, lunch, and two drink tickets that are redeemable at the snack bar or any on-course beverage cart.
  • Swag bags also include some light snacks.

Awards and door prizes.

  • Following play, lunch will be available in the ballroom, on the second level in the original Clubhouse.
  • Prizes will be awarded for first through third place.
  • Door prizes and contest winners will be announced.

Inclement weather.

If the course officials decide to cancel the tournament due to inclement weather, we will make an announcement via email and text message by 6:30 a.m. on Monday, April 8.

Due to course maintenance at Suntree Country Club, there will be no rain date.

In the event of rain or inclement weather once play begins, we will stay in contact with your team via text message with additional instructions.
