Join us on our walk to raise funds in support of Capuchin Family Ministries summer programs to provide aid to the underserved in the Hudson Valley and Appalachia.
Here's how. You decide on the details (and we can help!):
1. Register individually, as a team or as a sponsor.
2. Teams and indivividual registrants will receive a registration email confirmation with a link to create a fundraiser. Click the Start a Fundraiser button to create a personal or team fundraiser. Select a name, upload a picture, set a goal and a custom message.
3. Start spreading the word. Once you set up and verify your fundraiser, you will receive a custom link to share with your team and supporters and use to track your progress.
Registration is $25 for individuals ($20 for early birds!) and includes a T-shirt, snacks, fun, and games. Proceeds will support our summer programs and services to help in the fight against poverty.
The Heart & Sole Capuchin Walk-a-Thon aims not only to raise funds but also to raise awareness about the impact of poverty on the lives of our brothers and sisters in the Hudson Valley and beyond. Our founder, St. Francis of Assisi, took off his shoes, tossed away his staff, and exchanged his leather belt for a cord around his one tunic to walk with impoverished people. And he transformed the world. We invite individuals and teams to lace up their shoes, hit the pavement, and stride toward a world without poverty.
