My birthday is coming up next week, and this year I'm asking for donations to the Nemours Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders in order to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Over the last year, I've watched a close friend of mine, Eliot Hayes, battle a very rare form of lymphoma. Throughout his entire treatment, even the roughest parts of it, he has shown resilience and perseverance while maintaining his same positive attitude, which has inspired me greatly.

Although his treatment is going well and he has a very positive prognosis, other families are not so lucky.
