I started participating in the Congenital Heart Walk in 2015 after my nephew, Bridger, was born with a congenital heart defect. Did you know that every 15 minutes, a baby in this country is born with a congenital heart defect? That makes CHDs America's most common birth defect. Now I walk not only in honor of Bridger, but also in honor of Cleo, Clara, Maven, and Alexander, and in memory of baby Leo. So many families are affected by this, and the Children's Heart Foundation promotes research to help save these children and make their lives better.
My commitment to making a difference has led me to participate in the Congenital Heart Walk, an event that carries immense significance for me. It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward changing lives.
