My Personal Fundraising Page

On September 27, 2019, I am participating in a fundraiser for cancer research called “Hackers For Hope”.  This organization has been raising money for cancer research through an annual golf fundraiser for 31 years!

The money raised is given to various hospitals and medical institutions which include: Bennett Cancer Center at Stamford Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY, NY, McCooey Memorial Research Fund, Weill Cornell Medical College,  and the Cannonball Kids Cancer Foundation. The funds go directly towards research and treatment.  In total, Hackers For Hope has raised over  $16,000,000 to support these and other organizations--and the great thing about Hackers For Hope is that there is very minimal overhead.  Nearly all the money raised is put towards the goal – finding a cure for cancer. 

This event and organization hit home for me as I have close family and friends who have either gone through or are currently being treated through the services of the Bennet Cancer Center at Stamford Hospital.
